Privacy policy

This policy explains how Pauta, operated by AlencarWS, collects, uses and protects personal data, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection laws.

1. Data we collect

• Account: name, email and password (stored encrypted).
• Business: name, industry, city, audience, goal, content language and country you provide.
• Brand: website address, logo, colors, fonts, public website text, the “About the business” text, photos you upload and PDF materials (read to generate content; you can remove them at any time on the Brand screen).
• Instagram and Facebook: when you connect your accounts through Meta’s official login, we receive permission to publish on your behalf, read your posts and metrics, and look up public posts from business accounts you choose as references.
• Payment: processed by Stripe. We do not store card data.
• Usage: technical logs (date, IP address, actions on the platform) for security and support. We use your IP address to detect your country and show the site in your language (IP geolocation by DB-IP).

2. How we use it

Legal bases: performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests (security, product improvement) and compliance with legal obligations.

• Create graphics, captions and hashtags that match your brand identity.
• Schedule and publish the posts you approve (or automatically, if you choose).
• Show the results of your posts.
• Billing, support, security and compliance with legal obligations.

3. Artificial intelligence

To generate content, we send AI providers (such as Google Gemini, Black Forest Labs and Alibaba Cloud) your brand information and reference images — and, for AI Reels, the post image that becomes the first frame of the video. This data is used only to generate your content. Reference accounts are used as style inspiration; we do not copy third-party content.

4. Sharing and international transfers

We share data only with providers needed for the service — hosting (Oracle Cloud), storage (Cloudflare), AI (Google, Black Forest Labs, Alibaba Cloud), Meta for publishing, Stripe for billing and email delivery — under contract and with appropriate safeguards. Some providers process data outside your country, including in Brazil and the United States, under standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms. We do not sell personal data.

5. Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data at any time, and object to or restrict certain processing. Full account deletion is in Settings → Delete account, or by email at comercial@alencarws.com.br. See also the data deletion page (/data-deletion). You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

6. Retention and security

We keep data while your account is active. After deletion, data is erased within 30 days, except what the law requires us to keep (such as tax records). Access tokens and keys are stored encrypted.
